This fantastic bow from the KG Bowyers and appropriately named with the graceful flowing limbs as the wings of a bird of prey.
This is a unique and tastefully designed bow which unwinds so smoothly to full draw and yet produces an incredible amount of energy, which when transferred into the arrow generates incredible arrow speed and flat trajectory giving tremendous pleasure with every shot.
The Carbon Osprey bow on average is 6.33 feet per second faster than the standard Osprey of the same draw weight at 28”.
Available in Left or Right hand with either a Gloss or Satin finish.
The physical weight of the bow is approximately 600 grams but this is depending of the type wood used in the bow

Back to Traditional Bows

The Ultimate Traditional Bow

Unsurprisingly, the best bowyers in the country build the best bow available in this country, in my opinion this is the KG Carbon Osprey.

It is the smoothest bow to draw back but this smoothness belies the power in the shot once released. In fact it is so powerful that it can deliver quite a lot of hand shock so I would recommend getting the optional leather grip. Once the grip was installed the hand shock became incredibly detailed feedback. Now I'm not usually given to casual anthropomorphism but the bow really does communicate back to you when a shot goes wrong, you can almost hear the bow telling you what to correct in your form!

You'll get a lot of attention from other archers too because the bow is aesthetically beautiful, because it is feather light and also people just can't get their heads around how silent it is. I am lucky enough to have a KG Forester, which is another exceptional bow, but also a more traditional trad bow, if you get my drift. There's something in the Osprey design that's hit upon something magical. A Falcon is next on my list but if it tops the Osprey then I'll eat my hat.

Bundle all this up together with an impressive showroom to visit staffed by incredibly helpful and friendly staff, well, you get the picture - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Work of Art

The staff were brilliant with communication. The bow itself is amazing, looks fantastic, light, the draw is really smooth, has been a conversation starter at my club.

As someone has said, you do have to get used to the grip and vibration upon release. However these are minor - something you naturally have to adapt no matter what bow.

I paired this bow with Black Eagle traditional carbon arrows and boy its a joy to shoot. 34lb // 500 spine.

Elegant

Ive owned this bow for four months and absolutely love it. Very smooth, fast and so light. Its elegant and eye catching, shooting a very flat arrow trajectory.

Great bow!

Great bow! Smooth draw, faster than expected. Fantastic quality and look. Took abit more tuning than previous bows ive shot to get it perfect for me. Grip needs some getting used to. Overall a fantastic bow, feels like a bow twice its price.
