Utilising the most recent carbon fibre technology, the Vertex Carbon Riser is remarkably lightweight and features aesthetically pleasing curves and finished in a luxurious finish.
- The black satin shows the carbon and is finished in a satin finish
- The gloss finish also shows the carbon, but is finished in a high gloss finish. However this is quite hard to photograph. Colours may look different in real life.
This riser is solid carbon fibre, there is no aluminium core. The only metal in the riser is what you can see!

I have waited to review these (limbs are an update). Shooting BB, all I need for stability is a 180g weight above the lower limb to balance the 36lb limbs, pulling more as anchoring on the corner of the mouth. It is so stable, solid and stays vertical after the shot. Thanks to the person who made the grip, it fits beautifully. The offset grip is the star to this, harder to cant the bow and so more stable. Limbs: paired with 650@ 28" skylons, @60m sight top of boss and anchor on the mouth, 'nuff said fast. Indoors, still beautiful string walking 4 stitches on my tab (3/4") and tight groupings.
Purchased a deep red gloss vertex with axial limbs.
Shot them this week at 10m practice boss feel great, wooden grip is nice, just feels perfect combination .
Will shoot 18m at club this week and get better feel for it.
Overall, well made and excellent service
I bought the Vertex after testing in the shop and with components as recommended by the helpful staff. The intention is to use this as a bare(ish) bow for field archery but retaining the adaptability for target shooting and it achieves this versatility well. It's had a few runs through the woods and I'm very happy with the purchase. As it as no stabilisers, I have fitted Harley Davidson Stainless Pike studs to act as thread protectors (they are also unaware of the Metric thread system).

This new riser from KG archery is just amazing, its light in the hand yet incredibly strong . When coupled with the KG-NX 55 limbs its a real winner. Customer service is brilliant. Thank you KG for all your help.
