This is a unique and tastefully designed bow which unwinds so smoothly to full draw and yet produces an incredible amount of energy which when transferred into the arrow generates incredible arrow speed and flat trajectory giving tremendous pleasure with every shot.

The bow grip this is a true pistol type grip putting the bow hand in the correct position for maximum comfort and control of the shot.
The bow handle is a composite constructed bow handles with plantations grown Rosewoods and hardwood laminations.
The limb construction is with Cherry or Ash wood and Carbon laminations with clear glass to enhance the colours and texture of the American Cherry wood with a satin lacquer finish as standard. Come and try this bow you will not be disappointed.

All the timber that we use comes from sustainable plantations and from licensed timber importers, not from the Jungle therefore the colour and figuring of the Rosewood may vary from bow to bow.

The Falcon bow length Strung is 59 1/2" from nock slot to nock slot and measured in a straight line.
Bracing Height 8 1/4" to 9 1/4" to the back of the bow with a maximum draw length of 34"
The bow comes with a traditional arrow rest, FF+ bow string fitted with silencers and a cotton bow sleeve

A Masterpiece...

I am lucky enough to have several KG traditional bows and, after careful consideration, the Falcon has come out top... just. I saw a Falcon on a Swedish site, www.bagaropilar.com, in a gloss finish but it turns out these were a limited edition of 55. I asked if I could have one built and, fabulous folk that KG are, they agreed. Anyway, I'm only saying this as the bow has arrived but I've yet to shoot it, however, I do have a Falcon shadow so I'll base this on that. As well as the two Falcons, I own a KG Forester, Sheriff, Osprey and Outlaw. Of all of them the Falcon is my favourite, that gorgeous Osprey shape but with a lovely pistol grip, it's the perfect bow in my humble opinion, so quiet and smooth. I'm not a particularly competitive archer and I shoot for pleasure and this bow brings me immense joy. After a few shots you feel like it is a part of you, the less you think the better you shoot! Mind you, that peace is often shattered by the large queue of curious archers forming who want to look at, admire and try out, the bow. I have converted a few people, who usually shoot noisy heavy recurves, to traditional bows simply by how quiet, light and beautiful the KG bows are!

Anyway, I'll take the opportunity here (as usual) to thoroughly praise the staff at KG, brilliant bowyers and the shop staff are the most helpful you are going to find anywhere. As ever, extra special thanks to the lovely Tammie who is always beyond helpful and an absolute delight to deal with.

It doesn't really matter which of the KG range of traditional bows you go for because all of them are superb, the best trad bows in the world as far as I'm concerned.

Superb bow

I decided to upgrade from my osprey bow and what an upgrade it is, a superb bow that is so much faster than the similar weight osprey. Excellent service from the guys as usual.

Wow!

Having wanted this for ages, what a joy to shoot and hold. Fits your hand perfectly and is well balanced. Working up the sight marks at the moment, 50m at 34lb easy but moved from face to chin, 3 below with wooden arrows, 100gn points. As with all KG bows or limbs (yes I have a few) very fast and smooth. Service and friendly staff are the best of the many archery shops I have used across the country. Chatting to Keith over the new carbon riser and limbs was a pleasure, and need to start saving up!!

Elite bow

I came across my falcon second hand, after having been alerted to the beauty and accuracy of the falcon by a friend who runs Dartmoor instinctive archery who shot and reviewed a 34 lb @28 bow and I shot it myself. It’s his favourite gentleman’s bow and I understand why.
I own many bows , but the falcon is a true enigma in that it is truly understated , offering high performance in a very quiet quality package. My bow is 42 @28 but I draw 30 and at a longer draw the bow comes alive . It’s a masterpiece for the traditional archer. If you miss, don’t blame the bow.
