Highly recommended

I must congratulate the KG archery team for producing such an outstanding bow. The cast of this bow is exceptional. The bow looks great too. Very graceful with its classical design, incorporating a modern arrow shelf. Very smooth draw. Highly recommended.

Stunning and deadly

I've recently acquired a 2012 used Osprey. I had admired them but when I saw one at a 3d shoot I knew I had to have one.
They are gorgeous to look at and draw so smoothly.
I was however very disappointed on my initial acquaintance....
It wasn't until the penny dropped on how to grip the bow with a low wrist.
My arrows are in danger of breakage now as it just puts them into the spot time and time again.
Mine is 42# and feels on par speed and cast wise to a 40# hybrid.
If I were to buy another I may go a few pounds heavier as they do feel light to draw.
I will be shooting my Osprey at the next comp hoping for a new pb.

Excellent Bow for asian style

I bought one of these way back in 2001, and i love it. Now i have another purchased for me by the company i work for as a service award. (Std Osprey/36lb w/leather grip).

This time i wanted a bow to shoot exclusively with a thumb ring. I needed a L/H bow to shoot Right Handed, so i needed a bow grip that wasn`t particularly`Handed`. As such this bow fits the bill perfectly. I shot it the first time this week using my Korean thumbring, and Wow! If you`ve never tried this bow with one, then i urge you to try it. It shoots astoundingly well with this style. It`s like it was made for it. Possibly the best kept secret? Those arrows fly even straighter out of the bow than you`d expect using a ring thanks to that substantial cut-out. And they fly very, very fast indeed. What`s more the bow looks the part too, with it`s Middle Eastern/Asian looks. I`m not sure KG had Asian archery styles in mind when they first designed this bow, but it`s Perfect! I won`t be going back to Med style shooting anytime soon!

absolutely love it

I've now put a few hundred arrows through my brand new 42lb Osprey and I absolutely love it. It makes me smile just looking at it and shooting it is pretty much the most enthralling experience I've had in archery. I can't put it down. I bought my first bow from KG well over ten years ago and have shot recurve and bare bow since then. Not any more. I can't see me picking up a recurve again. My Osprey is all the bow I've ever wanted, or needed. It's made by craftsmen at KG not a factory in China and the customer service is, as far as I'm concerned the best you will find, anywhere, and I've been everywhere. Nuff said.
