I had been shooting three under for a couple of years, every now and then I'd try a split finger tab, not get on with it and go straight back. Whilst at KG waiting for some strings to be made up Martin recommended the Gompy TB-2 so I gave it a try on their range shooting my Falcon Shadow. Straight away it felt right and I adjusted to split finger quite quickly (alright, it does help when you are shooting one of the best trad bows on the market) and I have stayed split finger ever since. It's one of those things in archery where spending a shed load of folding money on the most expensive thing doesn't work. Like a fool I was on the verge of buying something flash, thankfully (cheers Martin) I got to try the Gompy and bingo! It's fast, slick and unobtrusive, you barely feel like you are using a tab at all, lovely.
